  The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the old market, Plaza de Abastos and to the historic centre of Santiago. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The building and decor were very attractive.   We arrived after being at our 1st Spanish wedding which was in Coruna which was a great experience, we were both tired after finding a car park for the car we found the hotel no problem the location was great, once checked in we were only to happy to see the lovely spotless room which was also nice and warm, we had a sleep for an 1 hour before hea... hva folk sier » ding out and have to stay the beds and the linen were so comfortable !! We went out and explored although it was a Sunday the streets were full of atm - We stayed at this hotel after walking 200km of the Camino. What a great choice! So close to the Cathedral and very central to shops and restaurants. The hotel has been beautifully revamped and we loved our room and the gorgeous bathroom. Lovely, peaceful hotel right in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Santiago. I would definitely stay there again!

  The Hospederia was an old Hospital for Pilgrams and a monastery. It has been fixed up with rooms. The staff were helpful. The rooms clean as well as the bathhrooms. The breakfasts were routine buffet style and more than adequate. I had one meal ( lunch) in the dining room. They serve a Menu del Dia. It is close to the cathedral and having completed the Camino de Compestela it was a good place to unwind without ha - I liked everything! It's right beside the Cathedral. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are basic but very clean. Breakfast was lovely, all staff were very helpful. The city is Santiago is beautiful, it's definitely a place I will go back to and would recommend it to everyone. There's such a good atmosphere there, everyone is relaxed and friendly.
