Excellent value for money. I was upgraded to a en-suite which was absolutely fine, quiet, clean and comfortable. Very good area with many shops, bars both cheap and expensive, very close to everthing and Metro round the corner if you are feeling lazy, plenty of buses. The area is lively but I would say safe.

The location was brilliant! - just off La Ramblas, 2 minutes walk from the metro and 3 minutes walk from a Carrefour supermarket. Our room was simple but comfortable enough for our needs. We were particularly pleased to have a room on the fifth floor - it meant that our room was very quiet. We were three young girls exploring barcelona with a low budget but looking for a comfortable hotel. The staff member Ella was not only beautiful but incredibly helpful in all aspects. She would give us directions and provide us with maps as well as recommendations of places to eat nearby which we ended up going to each night and for breakfast! We all needed to print off boarding passes and she would go the extra mile to help this happen. She also translated any Spanish for me. I cannot reccomm

We stayed twice in a room with private bathroom and will be coming back for sure. The hotel is extremely nice: the design is simple, but very nice, in white and blue tones, the bed was extremely comfortable, rooms had a small balcony, the bathroom was clean and neat, the reception was friendly and helpful. It is 2 min walk from Las Ramblas and Columbus. All in all, you get much more than you are paying for. 10 out of 10.
