The apartment was very contemporary and so was the rest of the building. The rooftop pool and sun bathing area had gorgeous views. We had our beds made everyday and bins emptied everyday which was very convenient. Half way through the week that we spent there, we also had 'deep cleaning' which we appreciated too. The fact that there was wifi was an extra bonus.

Very friendly and helpful host, he will give you a city map and give you advices when you first arrived. There is no ensuite room but shared toilet is very clean, and there are 2 toilets in each floor so you may not even have to share with anyone else. There is hair dryer as well.

The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings.

The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready

Beliggenheten var PERFEKT! Takterrasse var et deilig pluss så vi slapp å sitte inne på rommet å spise middagen. Vi lagde mat selv og kjøkkenet fungerte helt greit. About 10mins walk from the Catalunya Plaza, near to the airport bus statation. This hostel is in a residential building without any big sight on outside the building, so you may easily miss it. The Hostel is really great. It's located in the city centre close to Placa Catalunya. The nearest metro station is only 50 metres away! Stuff was very friendly always willing to help. There was no problem with printing some tickets or with leaving our bags for 8 hours after the check out as we had late evening flight. Overall i would highly recommened this place especially that room with private patio.

Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. -
I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.
