  We were welcomed by a Spanish front desk clerk who spoke a bit of English. When asked, transferred us to another room because wifi signal was stronger. When asked, he also called Tapeo de Cervantes and booked us a table for 2 in Spanish. Location is perfect, it is right in front of the trainstation. A short walk to the old town with all its temptations. And the hostal itself with its cool marble floors is traditional, comfortable and homely. And to top it all: the prices are "affordable".

  Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! Location is A+. 3min walk to train and bus stations and 1... hva folk sier » 0min to walk into the centre - we didn't need to use any public transport while we were there (about a 20min walk to the beach but it was a pleasant s - I had booked two individual nights, and could easily swop them for the same room, and the very kind lady at reception just charged me very little extra for the more expensive 2nd room. I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!

  My first time in Malaga and I could not have chosen a better Hostel to discover Spanish Constitution Day, St Nicholas Night, some of the best Christmas lights I have seen anywhere and the Malaga Marathon in one weekend! The hostel itself is within an attractive histo - The Location was brilliant right in the middle of malaga the marina a 8 min walk the cathedral about the same bus station too...and free wifi Caroline that runs it is so nice and friendly and helpful..   I stayed on the Friday night & the Monday night. Both times the staff were friendly. I was able to leave my bag there both times. The 2nd time I paid less but got a better room presumably because it wasn't full. It was in the City Centre & close to the beach. The nearest train station is approx. 5 min walk away.
