The Hotel was just like the reviews we´d read. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and staff friendly and helpful. Being so close to the Metro meant travelling into the center of Madrid was easy. We liked the fact that we felt independent - that we could do our own thing and not be restricted by meal times etc. The Plaza Basilica was booked to allow us to get to the Bernabeu and in to the city centre and in this respect it proved an admirable choice. We would undoubtedly choose it again for a similsr trip.
