  extremely friendly and very central to everything. A 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas. Lauren and staff at Somnio were the most helpful hotel staff I´ve ever encountered. They loaned us a guide book and answered our many questions. The room/bathrooms were spotless. we arrived before check in time, and they allowed us to use the bathrooms for shower... hva folk sier » s etc, and leave our luggage. highly recommend. - First, the hostel is not so far from the public transportation, i.e., the metro station. Second, since it seems to be renovated recently, the facilities are quite new. Moreover, my room is comfortable and quiet in the night. The shared bathroom is also clean. Finally, the staff are friendly, and the most attractive feature for me is the free wireless internet access.

  We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! This hostel is a gem it was spotless and really modern. Security was fantastic and although the only room left was with a shared bathroom it was right opposit... hva folk sier » e our room and only shared with staff non of whom we even saw, and to cap it all it was sparkling clean. I will return or recommend to anyone value fo - Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

  We had a wonderful stay at the Cien Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Barcelona. The location was great... Just two blocks away from the boutiques and nightlife of Passeig de Gracia - wow! From the Airbus stop in Plaza Catalunya we had to walk only 5-7 min. Very convenient indeed. The first room that we got was small but hed an inside balcony, we needed a bigger room so at the next morning we got transfer to a bigger room.
