  Very quiet and comfy room, only 2 minutes from the Metro station "Barceloneta" and also from the south entrance to the Barrio Gotico. Great breakfast and very attentive reception staff!   We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. It is s short walk from the Colonial hotel to the cathederal,the Ramblas, barcelonata etc. We would highly recommend the hot... hva folk sier » el and will definitely stay at this hotel when we are back in Barcelona again. Although we moved to the Port Olympic area we returned to the area oppo - Great hotel in a great location. Staff is helpfull. The room was cleaned daily, even on weekend. I needed a basic accomondation and did not need it to be just next to la rambla. Quiet place if no sport matches take place on the stadium near by. The interior was very nice, cleaners cleaned every morning and it looked fresh every time we came back from the beach.   Meget god frokost. Utmerket beliggenhet. Bra betjening. - The hote is just wonderfull- the stuff is very kind and helpfull, room was very comfortable, although the bed was very big. - I normally don't stay at 3 stars hotel. However I had to because only 3 stars offered wifi in the rooms. That was a nice upgrade.
