  I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk. The reception/b... hva folk sier » ar open 24 hours, so you will find someone there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommed to everybody this hostal if you are going t - Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room.   July 2013. We had a great time at this pension. We called ahead to say we would be late and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and some can speak English. When we arrived the staff could not speak English but communicated through a translator app!! The location is excellent, 5 mins walk from the centre of las Ramblas and a metro stop. The r... hva folk sier » oom was clean, air conditioned and contained a new-looking shower, sink and fridge. Wifi was fast. We were able to leave our bags after checkout. The - Loved the staff, even though only one of them speaks English, but since he's there every day at day time, I had no problem asking for help. My room was cleaned every day, which for a hostel is pleasantly surprising. The location is good as in in the center - two minute walk to La Rambla and ten minute walk to the port. Plaça de Catalunya with the AeroBus is within 5 min too, so transfers to/from the airport could never be easier The AC worked perfectly, fridge, shower, wifi etc - all good
