our first room smelled of tobacco; when we complained they immediately switched us to a better room. The staff was extremely helpful and kind despite not having great language skills. The lobby or lounge was very pleasant to hang out in (and use wifi). -
The location is good.

we really liked our stay in the hostal! it's close to the autobus station from salamanca as well to the 'old town - the main center of salamanca'! the staff is very nice --> if we decide to travel another time to salamanca...hostal conde david!

Absolutely fantastic stay, at one of the best prices in town. Lots of hot water in the shower, spotlessly clean, modern decor. Windows kept out the road noise nicely. -
Friendly staff, easy to walk into old city which is definitely worth a visit, modern decor, breakfast was excellent value for money, safe parking under hotel.
