  This hotel is excellent! We were 2 girls travelling together and felt very safe in the area. The hotel room was spotless and so comfy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing Grand Via. We loved seeing the action, but when we didn't want to hear or see it, the blackout blinds and sound proofed windows worked perfectly! I ca - If you want a downtown location in the heart of the city this this is an excellent place to be. The hotel is small but very clean and tidy. They provide a free welcome drink in the roof top terrace. There are electric shutters on each windows to stop light and also reduce street noise. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Staff were fine. Overall, nothing exceptional but it served its purpose well enough.

It is not in the midle of the touristic spot so you dont see 40+ years old tourists waddling around in their "comfortable" attire when you go outside of you hotel, instead, you are in the middle of the trendiest area. You can take express bus from the airport (24h) for only 5EUR and get off in Plaza Cibeles which is 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Attention to detail is for sure one of the key principles of this hotel, starting with the welcome (someone opening the door for you, we got offered as well a glass of Champagne to welcome us, water was provided for free in the room, ...).
