The rooms were very clean and looked new. The bed was super comfortable and came with several super fluffy pillows. The climate is controlled within the room and the bathroom was of a good size. Also, it is a no smoking hotel so the rooms don't smell of other people's stale smoke (although some people on my hall were smoking anyway.) - Excellent

It was a real treat staying here. The room was awesome! What a wonderful bit of Spanish history staying at the Hotel with all of the family antiques. Carlos the owner could not have been a better host. Showing us around and telling us the family history. This is a superior hotel and staff, just sorry we were not staying much longer. -

Wonderful views and close to Gijon - a footpath runs from the hotel to the city in one direction through a sculpture park and to two lovely beaches in the other direction. You can enjoy the city and its nightlife while feeling like you are away from it all. The breakfasts were generous and really fresh ingredients and the staff were lovely -
