Reallu high quality for what you pay! Sweetest women running it, but
don't expect luxury - as we didn'T. It's clean and has
exactly what you need to sleep, we even got a balcony. Very clean, for
Spanish hostal standard and really the sweetest employees. We live in
Barcelona, so this was a perfect get a way and the city was amazingly
beautiful. When I asked about check-out time, they said "12 -

The owners and staff did their utmost to be helpful and friendly at all times. The hotel was spotlessly clean. It was nice to have a bar on the premises as well as a restaurant and there was a small supermarket only a few doors away. The beach was in view of the hotel (just) and only a 10 min stroll away.
Rooms were basic, but very clean and comfortable. Great location with easy access to the coast and the ruins of Empuries.
Hostal La Vinya was an incredibly good find; the staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Friendly reception, nice ladies, free parking in the street, good towels, good wifi, bed small but okay.
I liked everything for the price, really.
Parking is always a problem in L'Escala but I know that in advance!.
