Antonio is a great host and was most helpful and made us feel at home.
The hotel is charming and of a high standard.The rooms are tastefully decorated and are very clean and have air conditioning.The breakfast was great and again of good standard.We were pleased we chose Villa Sur and will remember it fondly. -

The owner is an older gentleman and very delightful! We went to Granada as most people do to see the Alhambra. From the hotel we took the #9 bus connecting with the #30 and were there in less than 30 minutes without having to deal with traffic or parking. Round trip for 2 was <10€. Would highly recommend. Located in residential area on a hill facing town, with territoial long view of Granada sunset from private deck. I arrived by car, used on street parking. Did not try the breakfast or drink service, just brought groceries for picnic dinner on the balcony. Very pleasant, quiet, restful.

It´s a purpose built hostel, not a converted apartment building. The
rooms are very spacious. The staff was exceedingly helpful and very nice
(I can speak spanish, so I can't vouch for their foreign language
skills). There was a small leak on the toilet flush (it can happen in
the best places) when we arrived at about 2100, but the receptionist

Superb location and very spacious room. Felt newly decorated and the
word 'clean' simply can't describe the sparkling perfection
of the rooms and common areas. The photos simply don't do justice to
the hotel/hostal - common areas are beautiful and the building
reminded us of a Moroccan riad.

Possibly the best accommodation we've had in years. An airy, quiet,
lovely apartment right in the middle of everything (yet shielded from

The apartment is in a perfect central location right next to tapas bars and the main square where we were lucky enough to watch some street flamenco performances. The apartment was well-equipped with a nice kitchenette. The lady who checked us in was very helpful even though we arrived outside the usual check-in hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 5 nights and would not hesitate to come back.

Very clean and very quiet. Close to everything. Very well priced and parking is 12 euro but worth it as Granada is hard to find something on street. The palace close by is amazing BUT unfortunetly we couldnt get in, we started queing at 8am to get a ticket and by 9.30 they had sold out for the day,,,get one the day before and don,t be dissapointed

Great location. You can easily walk to all places, even to Alhambra.
The hostal is situated in a very nice and clean building.
There is a parking slot in the same building, for a reasonable price (12 euros per day).

Meget blid og hyggelig betjening - We had small children and we really appreciated the hotel service staff going to extra lengths to make sure the baby bed was cleaned and related amenities were looked after. The large playground outside the hotel was a nice feature. The access to the buses into the old town and near the Alhambra was fantastic. -

We were there for 2 nights and the hotel was excellent .The car was
parked for me and was outside waiting when we were checking out.In a
lovely area with lots of bars and restaurants close by and a 20 minute
walk to the Alhambra following the hotels directions,NOT Googles. As
the Alhambra overlooks the city, if you do not like walking then public
transport etc is advisable as it is quite hilly for the last half of
the walk and would not suit every body.As we only used the hotel as a

The location was near to Granada town center but very quiet location. Public parking was under the building. Police office is next door and it gave us some sense of security. - I thought the standard of the hotel was excellent and better than I had expected. The power shower in the room was amazing.
