This is a gem. It's a small family operation, with only four or five
rooms, decorated with charm. (Why, for instance, is there a ladder in
the bathroom when there's nothing high up to reach? You'll
figure it out.) The owners are really pleasant and friendly - in a quiet
way, not at all overbearing. And the food - ah, the food. Superb! -

honoured guest in a family home than staying in a hotel. The meals were
exceptional, prepared by friendly hostess Carme. The location is quiet
and peaceful, a good base for exploring the Costa Brava and Salvador
Dali Museum in nearby Figures.

We had a basic room which also had a small terrace overlooking the
courtyard garden. The staff spoke French and some English. The staff
were very pleasant and gave us some pamphlets about the surrounding area
and of things to do. As we were travelling out of the main holiday
season, we had breakfast at the Els Pescadors restaurant - breakfast was

meters from the Port, and there are plenty of walking options in the

It was the best hotel in my 15 years travelling experience! I am very happy that I managed to find a place which seemed to me a cosy family house much more than a hotel. Everithing: vintage warm interior with marine theme in every little subject, tasty breakfast in a comfortable room, attentive and kind staff, room facing the garden and the street near the port of Lianca, free bicycles for trips around the city, all that together formed the feeling that we were guests of some Catalan friends, n
