Very friendly staff, I travel with two dogs - one small and one medium sized, it was not a problem at all.
The hotel is situated in a pedestrian area with lots of restaurants and shops +++ - only a few minutes walk to the beach and seaside. -

The Manager was extremely friendly and accommodating. We asked to be moved to a bigger room as the first room we were given was very claustaphobic and we were give a much superior room at no extra charge. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day . Manager was so helpful and really made our stay. -

Had rooms for 3 people for our trio - unusual in Spain - so much cheaper than getting 2 rooms.
The 'Menu-of-the-Day' is Excellent value and restaurant seems to be always open.
Receptionist speaks good English and is happy to translate the menu! -

Just back from a 5 day stay in Hostal Platja. Arrived at 9 pm and rang the bell. A very friendly gentleman checked us in. We were give a choice of 2 rooms.
Rooms were probably a little small. Had A/C which worked well but a little noise if you are a light sleeper. Also a mini fridge with two bottles of water, which is a very nice touch. Mini f
