What a excellent place!!! Everything you need is there. It was clean, nice view, the bed was comfortable-whow, what a stay! It was really a fantastic weekend break. We will definitely go back. The location/view and comfort of the De Goede Hoop,the house we had. The Voorstrandt Restaurant (the red buildiing) near the center of the bay/beach was really excellent. Location of the Studios Tranquility Very neat inside with all the basics one would need plus more. That there was a dishwasher AND dishwasher tablets was a bonus.

Travelling information

DIRECTIONS TO STRANDLOPER OCEAN • Follow the R27 (West Coast Road) from Cape Town • Proceed past the Engen 1 stop at Langebaan (about 100 km from Cape Town) • Go over “bridge” and turn left to Vredenburg • Continue straight through Vredenburg and then continue for 15 km into Paternoster • As you enter Paternoster, you will find our first road sign just after the Paternoster Express Shop. • Turn right at the the first four way stop (St Augustine Road) • After about 100m you will find our second road sign on the left • Go over another four way stop and carry on straight • Turn left at the first turnoff after the four way stop and then second street right • Carry on straight for about 300m and this road will take you to Strandloper Ocean
