  I came to Bratislava by train and I needed a hotel near the railway station. And Freddie was exactly what I needed. Not a luxury hotel, but just 3 minutes walk from the station, spacious and clean room, very friendly staff, super breakfast. I'm only sorry that I had no time to stay longer than just two nights. Hostel is clean and friendly and the common rooms are great spaces to relax. There is a washing machine. The studio room we had came with a kitchenette and towels. Unlike other reviewers, we did not have to pay for towels. Hostel seems new so everything was pretty good.

  Very close to the station, about a mile from the old town. The bar in the basement gave this a friendly feel and the noise was not too noticeable in the rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen was well equipped and well organised, good for making a cup of tea or cooking a full meal. - Nice staff. Recommended to young travellers who travel by train and want to try something new. - Position just behind the railway station. Very original building and furniture like from fairy tales.   We stayed 2 nights (literally just nights), no complaints, perfect STAFF and great location (right in center), check out till 12:00, any problems with leaving the luggage on reception :) Strongly recommending for sightseeing (young independent people)!!! - It is not a hostel, it's more like a 1star hotel.   The receptionist was amazing. He helped us with all the information. He was very polite and friendly. The hotel provides free drinks (water and coffee machine). The room was large, bed comfortable, good shower. The decoration of the room is also pretty. Perfect location. The hotel is located near the old city. If I come back to Bratislava for sure... hva folk sier » I would choose this hotel again. - Fantastic place! ...the receptionist Simona was a breath of fresh air. She made our stay enjoyable from the moment we walked through the door. Rare in Slovakia. Great position, wonderful nights sleep WITH the window open (quiet) and fantastic price.   I really liked the room (we had Klimt room) and the colours. Also the showers were good. The reception people were very nice and the location is excellent for cheap beer and also near the centre.
