We would stay there again and recommend to our friends.

  Stayed as a single person in a double room with a balcony overlooking the street. I really liked the balcony and did not find the street particularly noisy. I liked the early bells from the Indian temple. Close to Chinatown but far enough away from Pagoda Street to not be crowded. The wonderful Tong Ah restaurant is just up the road. There are restaurants next to the hotel serving local cuisine - tried one of them and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel has also a restaurant but didn't get a chance to dine there.
