  Hotel in an original setting (a former prison, with the steel doors still present) and a central location (not difficult in Roermond). Very confortable rooms (most complete bathroom kit ever, even includes washing cloth), excellent restaurant, friendly and helpfull staff, computer available for hotel guests), etc. Definitely worth a detour. Roermo... hva folk sier » nd is not a big town but is an excellent base to discover Limburg (good railway connections). - A stylish hotel.....so unusual....a little bit of luxury ....a real find. I would recommend it to any one wanting something a little different. Worth visiting Roermond ! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I can't wait until my next visit

  One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Lovely quiet village, fantastic friendly and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, excellent food. Perfect weekend, thank you. I will be back.

  Great location. Hotel is situated on a beautiful park with direct access to the Geuldal. The senior apartment was large enough for us and our 4 kids. Staff was friendly, we felt very welcome with our 4 children. We are looking forward to going back. - The beautiful chateau

  The location is fabulous! Located about 100 meters from the main square in Sittard. There are 20 restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Being in Brunssum for business it was well worth staying out here due to the variety of options available after the working day. Parking was conviently located underground and was connected to the hote... hva folk sier » l. Hotel breakfast was fairly standard for Europe. Eggs available on request and the cheese/meat/fruit/cereal/coffee options that you would expect an - I loved everything about it. Peace & tranquillity. Smiley people who want to help you. I have stayed in many, many hotels and so many countries - and Merici is perfect for a quiet few days. I shall come again.
