  I am a very friendly person, Australian. I found the staff including Martin (?spelling) to be very helpful and concerned that I had an enjoyable time. I am an Andre Rieu fan since the Unsolved murder of my son Ben, aged 22yrs.the hotel is close to the Vrijthof, a good walk in the old city.i love history. Room 7/Nana was exceptional, split level and so spacious. Felt more like my own apartment. Beds are HUGE and incredibly comfortable. Service was excellent and the swimming pool, although I was unable to use it, looked beautiful.

  The location is fabulous! Located about 100 meters from the main square in Sittard. There are 20 restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Being in Brunssum for business it was well worth staying out here due to the variety of options available after the working day.   Excellent location, lovely apartment, clean, everything we needed was there. Supermarket, nice eateries/shops close by, also very near to bridge over river to rest of town. Friendly staff on arrival. Staying in an apartment is a good way for a large group with children to stay in a city centre. Comfy beds, nice little patio off one of the bedrooms... hva folk sier » . Parking space for our car (Not advertised when we booked so a great bonus) The location was fantastic for us, just opposite the University (Though again we didn't know this when we booked).   Everything. The Hotel staff were fantastic from start to finish. They were friendly, welcoming, and efficient without being in the least bit subservient. The accomodation was clean, spacious and well equipped and the food was good. While the Hotel de Oolderhofjes is not cheap its quality is very good indeed and it represents excellent value for... hva folk sier » money. We will stay there again. - The owner, Jan, was very welcoming and all the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was sufficient and fresh. The room/suite was excellent and had everything one could ask for. The best I have stayed at in Europe. We will certainly go back there next year.
