  We arrived at 11 p.m. & the owner waited for us. They're very friendly, the rooms are big & very clean. Nice to stay there. - the owners were really friendly and the rooms are new and spacious. We really enjoyed the substantial breakfast.

  Lovely deluxe room with the most comfortable beds and pillows we ever had. Heaters were on day and night as it was - 4deg. Didnt want to leave it. It felt like home. Breakfast was great too.   We loved this place in Franeker. It was just unique in every way. Right beside the canal with so many lovely old buildings that looked like they fell out of a post card. Beyond anything we even expected or hoped for. The perfect example of a historic Dutch town, even with moats and zig-zag canals.
