  The hotel was undergoing alterations - it was a bit of a shock when we arrived as this was not mentioned on the website - we liked the staff who were extremely helpful, the reception staff were very efficient.   Good clean cheap hotel. When I came only older people (50 and older), so the hotel was quite quiet as well. Directly in the city center, everything was easy to reach.   Great breakfast. Very tidy and Linda was very helpful. Easy parking outside. The canal view room on the first floor is particurly nice. Good cafes etc for diner in the evening.
