  The staff were probably the most helpful I have come across in 30 years of travelling the world. They even tracked us down by phone to tell us that a museum we thought closed at 9 was to close at 7. The decor of the hotel is great and although like all canal side town houses the rooms are small, they were well laid out and of a high quality. Our room was pretty small, but to be expected from a city centre hotel, especially in Amsterdam, however it was immaculately presented, beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable we nearly didn't make it up in the morning. The staff were wonderful, and we will be going back.

  I would recommend this hotel to anyone (not to anyone with cat allergies). The location of the hotel was brilliant, and everything of interested close by. We was never bothered by noise from the street. The breakfeast (served at the table) was standard (nothing at all to complain about).   Hans was brilliant very welcoming and friendly. The apartment is very clean and smart! They have everything you need. Even let us stay another night as are flights got changed. 5minute walk to the town centre will be booking the same place for next year as we couldnt of asked for anything better!
