  The accommodation at Apartment Rijksmuseum exceeded all expectations. Not only was the apartment very clean, it was also spacious and ideally situated. The only confusion was who to buzz when we arrived, but we quickly figured it out (there's an art gallery below where the owners reside). Nothing but positive things to say. - An absolute delight. The hosts Wies and Joop were warm and hospitable offering assistance about access to interesting parts of the city and welcoming into their home.   The host met us at the door with the keys and showed us around the apartment and how to work everything. All bedding and towels were fresh and the beds were comfortable. The host was accommodating and he gave us his mobile number in case we needed anything or had any questions. Definitely a good value for what we payed! - We were 3 generations travelling together, from age 6 to 82. It was nice to find a place without to many stairs : ) The area is really quiet and safe, and the apartment is really spot on in terms of location, everything is near by – or a few tramstops away. It's within a reasonable walking distance from central station and there is plenty to do in the area if you decide to stay near the hotel. Perfect for couples and students.
