  Very nice personnel, old style but functional, nice restaurants around - The staff were truly friendly, helpful and quite understanding even towards the children(1 and 4 years).   This Hotel is run by Family Rekko located in a quiet district near Helpoort. The elder gentleman (should be the owner) was nice, speaking slow but very clear English. At the first day we were the only two guests, but breakfast still well-prepared with boiled eggs and hot tea/coffee. There is an awesome restaurant around the corner. A bit off the beaten track, but close enough to walk everywhere. I will definitely go back to Rekko!

It is more like "your house in Maastricht", when you arrive, you get your own set of keys that give you access to an old Dutch house and your allocated room out of the just eight the room has.
