They even tracked us down by phone to tell us that a museum we thought closed at 9 was to close at 7. The decor of the hotel is great and although like all canal side town houses the rooms are small, they were well laid out and of a high quality. Our room was pretty small, but to be expected from a city centre hotel, especially in Amsterdam, however it was immaculately presented, beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable we nearly didn't make it up in the morning.   Wonderful 18th century style house in an extraordinary location in one of the most beautiful cities ever. We loved the hotel's room which perfectly blended modern convenience with the charm of the city and of Flemish paintings. For a studio the apartment is huge with the added bonus of outside space. It's only a short walk to the hustle and bustle and around a 20 minute walk to the main centre.
