  Annabel and Pierre have a lovely spot at Casa Lalla. Annabel was wonderful in answering all of our questions beforehand. They arranged for 2 shuttles to the Riad, since we were arriving separately from two different countries. The Riad is beautiful and since it was off season we had much of it to ourselves quite often. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.

Not only the riad itself is great value for money with beautiful rooms and even more beautiful terrace, Mr.Ismael also bought the train tickets for us which I asked him through email.   We stayed for a week at Hotel du Tresor in the Mizrachi room on the ground floor. We arranged to have a taxi pick us up from the airport (15euros) which was worthwhile as it not only saved the hassle of arranging a taxi but it also meant we were met when we got out of the taxi and guided down the various alleys to the Riad itself. This is a tradional Moroccan house, with rooms around a central courtyard, decorated tastefully with traditional Moroccan and some modern treasures -- charming. The White Room was lovely -- simple, quirky, with its own private roof terrace. And piping hot water in en suite. This was excellent value and only 5 minutes walk from central square.

  The owners of the Riad are what made our trip to Morocco so memorable. There was a taxi to greet us at the airport and drive us to the Riad. The owner met us in the parking lot and escorted us through the chaos of the streets to the Riad.
