  Fantastic and helpful staff. Only 1 min walk from Djemaa el Fna. Cosy atmosphere at the hotel, feels very local and different in a good way. The rooms are nothing special, but you don't expect that anyway. However, the rooms are clean, everything works fine!   I absolutely loved staying at the Doceur Mandarine. The rooms were particulary good. I stayed in the DZIRA room. Loved having dinners and breakfasts on the roof terrace. This place i cant recommend highly enough to other travellers. It is located in the medina but it was so quiet at night and even during the day. Hassan was our driver/guide to Essaouira, and Hamid was our tour guide for the market area. - Excellent hotel, excellent staff: everything exceeded my expectations. I told the hotel the stay was a 60º birthday gift for my husband, and they invited us for a special cake, and they gave us a superior suite than the one I reserved. The best location to visit the city. We have the better experience for all our travels. If you want to visit Marrakesh, stay in Les Jardins de La Koutoubia.
