Good, clean, basic room with hot water. Staff was friendly and the breakfast included was good. No complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator in the room, but not absolutely necessary. Good location and my room was in the back and 3rd floor - so no noise as long as you ran the ceiling fan and air conditioner.

The rooms were very cozy and the cleaning was very good. And it was the
perfect distance to the beaches, and they had enough towels both for
beach use and the room. The operation was handy to help with anything we

hotel manager spoke perfect English so there was never a problem to

Blue Pearl is absolutely a perfect place to spend a couple of weeks in Playa del Carmen...apartments are very nice and spacious, in each terrace (or garden if u stay at ground floor) u have a bath tub and hammock; also, u have air conditioner, fridge and burner.
Position is perfect, very close to the beach, 5th avenue and all the night club.
In case we will back in Playa, we will stay again in Blue Pearl.

The personnel was very, very nice and caring. I could change my room after two nights (I wanted a room with own balcony). The hotel was really beautifully decorated and there was trees between the stairs to upper rooms. I loved the candles by night and the nice public balcony with sofa where you could watch over the street and have your coffee. (Starbuck was just opposite.)
