We were impressed by the simple yet elegant deco of the room. The location is also strategic walking distance to all attractions and bus stop. I am most thankful to the staff on duty during our check-out on 15/9/13 (if I remembered correctly her name is Tina). She willing to mail postcards for me since we didn't have time to purchase stamps and look for postbox. The postcard has already arrived here in Kuala Lumpur!.
alle vurderinger » I liked that the hotel was in the old part of Macau in one of the side streets it made you feel like you were in a Asian city and not a tourist destination. It was only 50 meters from the main street that goes to the grand lisboa casino so great shopping all the way also just around the corner is a great restaurant with live seafood not cheap but great food and service it was a local restaurant full of locals. Location is great, near senado square, ruin st.Paul, etc. near the famous pastelaria koikei. Find free shuttle bus to venetian easily at Yuet Tong Maritime Terminal, just walk to the end of av alm Ribeiro, you'll find ponte 16, then turn left.Room's design is ok and clean enough. The staff so friendly and speak English well. Food is easy to find. Near by to Ruin Of Saint Paul, Senado Square, Food Stall. Can actually walk to A Ma Temple & Macau Tower. Around 15 minutes walking distance. It's a walking diatnce to Lisboa Casino,Wynn Casino,President Casino & more. Walking distance around 20 minutes. Location was great, walking distance from everywhere in Macau. First room had a awful mould smell and the staff took us to different rooms to choose a better one as I'm allergic. you can access the other noteworthy places from the hotel by just walking, so it is a good hotel to stay on; plus the price is not so bad at all so get your money's worth. Room is small and there was no bar fridge but for the money what do you expect. It's a bit tricky to get to the hotel from airport if you use public bus. First take bus no.26, Then change to bus no 26a and stop at av alm Ribeiro. You'll see Pastelaria Koikei across the street, take the small lane beside it, and then take the first right, the hotel is few meter on you right side. Be careful, they write the English name of the bus stop on the back side of the Bus Stop Sign. No Comment. Strong smell of mould in both rooms offered. Guy next door was smoking and smoke smell was coming into our room. we had a hard time communicating with the staff as they speak poor english, we could not understand each other very well. Front desk staff friendliness average. It might be because of my race (cos macau's majority tourists are from China). But if you speak English with them, they will treat you differently. Can actually hear noise from next room. everything perfect. the staff in announcing to you the check out time should be easy on the fon. was quiet a straightforward "do you know u have to check out at 12?" kinda of. Only two downsides: it's not easy to find and the minor irritation that there is no refrigerator in the room to put, eg, cold water. Bit hard to find without a map. Actually none. The AC in the room was a bit noisy. They stylish layout of the bathroom (tainted glass wall) didn't provide much privacy when in the toilet... slow check in. Rooms aren't very sound proof to the hallway or other rooms. No views of any sort. Macau hotels are all too expensive, but this one is more reasonable than most. New English TV channel, wifi did not work, TV was installed flat to the wall and not visible from f.the bed. Shower temperature not consistent & wall sound proof not up to expectation. N/A. Nothing. The room does not look as good as shown in the website. Room was small even we booked deluxe room (Doubt that the room we got is deluxe or not). Do not trust the photo you saw in this website. After we came back to our room, we sense a smoke in our room. We complaint to the staff but nothing happen. Uncomfartable bed. there is a sound everytime you moved. Staff wasn't very helpful. bad location, difficult to find the hotel and not enough light in the room. Shower in the bathroom - no place to hang it, so you have to hold it yourself which is a bit odd. Noisy. You will hear everything what happens on the same floor outside your room. As you may know chinese people are really noisy, so you will get up with them in the morning ;) no way to sleep as much as you want. Incurring extra charges when requesting for pillows and mineral water. Internet slowly and sometime couldn't connect in the room. the room was fine for the price/quality. Room is too small. Very tiny. Too expansive.
