Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The dinner at the Ryokan was
amazing (but is extra and you have to request beforehand, I did this by
email through their website). The room was large (very large by Japanese
standards) and clean. The onsen/bath on site was very nice and liked
that fact that it's private (you lock it once you're inside) as
opposed to the communal experience at most other onsens. They will also
pick you up from the Ferry station if you call as you're boarding

The lady who ran the place was incredibly helpful with lots of information.
It is in a fantastic location - just one street behind the main shopping street, and only a 3 minute walk from the main shrine/torii gate.
The dinner was incredible and a must have if you stay at this ryokan.
The room was very large, the bedding was comfortable, and we had a private toilet in our room.

- The family that runs the place is really helpful! No wonder it has
great reviews. They pick you up from the ferry as soon as you arrive.
They give you all the information there is to know about Miyajima with
regards to opening times and things to see. The ryokan style is very
comfortable and even to have a shower, you can lock the bathroom not
like other ryokan accommodations.

The excuisite location close to all of the main sights. An excellent base to enjoy the atmosphere of the island for a very reasonable price.
We had a great time at Ryoso Kawaguchi! The location was perfect, the
staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home.
Having stayed at multiple places throughout our month-long visit in
Japan I can say this was one of my favorite places we stayed.

We had pick up service from Miyajima ferry. The tourist info girl at Miyajima ferry station called Ryoso and within 5 mins they picked us up.

The room was very nice and big, with a western toilet IN the room, bath downstairs. The woman that runs it was very nice. Its a few minutes walk to the picturesque O-tori Gate. I would recommend this place.
Miyajima is a great place to visit and this ryokan is a perfect option to stay in the island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. A good value for money.
Everything from the friendly staff to the wonderful loft room. Both the dinner and breakfast was excellent...I could barely finish it...Wish I had the stomach space!.
