very clean, organized, beautiful landscape and view from the villa was exquisite. My friend and I viewed the single unit looking out at the sea as a villa. The room was exactly as advertised. The back porch added a romantic touch to the décor. You have a choice of air condition or fresh air. Small and courteous staff. Excellent breakfast choices. Unique bar seats. They are chairs in swings fashion - attached with ropes from the ceilings. Conveniently located to shopping areas.

The Management and staff are very professional, and they ensure that your stay is comfortable. Patricia Markham, Ont. We had a great stay at the lodge. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The lawns & gardens were beatiful. Several travellers we met were repeat customers, which speaks for itself. We had room 17 and it made the trip with the wonderful veranda and what my husband called "the million dollar view". The gardens were gorgeous and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location - directly at the Caribbean Sea with a nice reef for snorkeling - and besides that next to the Ocho Rios' town center... the property was very clean and the gardens and edges was very well groomed, and i was able to have worm showers, thank god. the grounds of the hotel/pool and the views were exceptional.its well maintained throughout. breakfast was nice. The rooms were very clean. Excellent sea views. Good was great & overall staff were friendly & polite. Friendly very nice staff from reception, restaurant. Lovely old style building and grounds. Loved everything including their restaurant service. Their breakfast service is wonderful. The nice view from our room and the bar. Sea views, Good Service, Food. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast, the menu choice was brilliant. The grounds of the hotel and the view from restaurant was picturesq. - Great view with a balcony - powerful air con - we where allowed to check in early - nice Jamaican breakfast. Music from roadside penetrating the room when windows are opened during the night. Did not like the energy tax of 10%. A bit noisy due to the town right out the front door. Limited menu for those who do not like spicy foods or go outside their comfort zone to try local dishes. Even a second sauce for the pasta would have been helpful. This was mostly due to the fact that we stayed 2 weeks. the lighting in the room was very poor, could not see my face clearly to shave. traffic noise on occasions . Noisy town close by, could hear loud TV coming from next room trying to drown out loud concert from town. Only 2 hangers in the closet. When we arrived to our room we were given 2 single beds. We immediately requested for a double bed as per our booking request but management engaged in an argument for upto a couple hours. A member of staff went and spoke to management on our behalf then eventually we were moved to a room with a double bed but with very dim lighting. - continental breakfast option was limited - safety deposit not located in the room and very small - a deposit had to given for everything i.e. remote controls room key, beach towels etc. - cable signal was unstable - no mosquito net - room and balcony door didn't look secure like it has previously been broken into. on arrival they wanted to charge us more than the price on booking. the room was not clean, dirt un der the bed, noisy airco and a lot of noise in the area, but it was on a saturday. Breakfast service was very slow.
