  The hotel Le Penete located between the Lake of Como and Lake of Lugano is a great location in absolutely quiet sorrounding, offering perfectly designed rooms and a delicious breakfast with handmade jams and bread. It has a great position - close to the good supermarket and the highway, so it is perfect for one-night stay during the journey. We have also appriciated, that the breakfast started already at seven o'clock. - close to shopping area of foxtown, and cheap comparing to Lugano. Cheap for the supermarket near door.

  It is a really interesting place. History tells that the house is dated 1335. Generally speaking, it is located in the middle of nowhere in the small village close to Italian-Swiss border.   Beautiful small hotel with friendly staff and the most amazing restaurant. We had a whole part of the hotel to ourselves which definitely is the best 'family room' we have ever had.
