Location location location!! I stayed 12-17 Aug 13 in Room 1 (4 rooms in B&B incl common kitchen & rooftop terrace) EUR60/nite incl light b/f at Cafe nearby. This is 10/10 in terms of price vs facilities. I've been to Taormina 4 times and stayed at Condor, Hotel Victoria & an apartment for total 4 months and can tell you there is no better value in Taormina for a really cute B&B. My beef in Taormina is always that the cheeky sods want to charge you the max and give you as little.
alle vurderinger » Great position immediately adjacent to Porta Messina and close to everything in Taormina including the incredible Greek Theatre. Through Porta Messina is the main pedestrian street along which is Piazza IX Aprile with incredible views of the coast and Etna. Just down the road is the gondola to Isola Bella and the beach if you don't want to do the steps. There is some noise from the busy street but sitting on your balcony you will be entertained by the constant parade of cars,buses,scooters and . The perfect location of the apartment. Nearby are shops with food and necessary things. 1 min to the funicular, bus stop very close by. Taormina's main street is 20 meters away from the house. The room is small, like everything else in the city center, but very nice and cozy. Always clean. Thanks to the efforts of the hostess create a home and a very pleasant atmosphere. Even there are no unpleasant odors, which are often in old buildings. Attention is paid to every guest, the hostess is very t. Porta del Re is located in the very center of Taormina with great access to old town and all the restaurants and bars. Make sure you're looking for Neckermann sign on the door as the B&B itself is located on the upper floor of the building above Neckermann. Definitely one of the best value for money options in Taormina considering other rather pricey hotels in this town. Clean, nice interior, consist only of 3 rooms and kitchen (very good completed) so it is really homely. Location is central, also bus station is very close (it is important because Taormina is rather far from its railway station; bus to Catania goes every hour). Coffe and fresh bakery for breakfast are also excellent. Location is excellent. Close to bus station and sites. This place has free wifi, despite what it says on letsbookhotel.com The lady let us use the kitchen to cook meals. Highly recommended. I just can recomend it. It's directly walking street, exactly in the gate for this. Good view for the teeming downtown & big traffic. location laid back atmosphere shared kitchen and terrace balcony overlooking town freedom. Hotel in centre. Close to everything, easy access, apart from 3 flights of stairs. I loved it and I will book again in 2014. It is just awesome value in a town with prices through the roof. It makes a pleasant stay in Taormina available to all and not just the cashed-up few. It is extremely difficult to give a precise time of arrival when travelling and having made an appointment and turned up on time finding no-one at the property was a bit irksome. I trust this was an aberration. A mobile phone call sorted things out eventually . a little noisy, but it is a common situation for the city center. Breakfast consists of coffee and croissant that you can pick up in the neighboring restaurant. Because of its central location it can be a little bit noisy, but all traffic noise is finishing before midnight. During our stayed which were 3 night theresn't room clean up & change of towels. Maybe noise because of center, but not disturbing. breakfast very poor. Noise - very loud location Two separate beds Pricey for the quality.
