great place to stay in Siena - Travelling by car, we found the hotel more easily than we expected. We were given excellent advice at the hotel on parking in Sienna and using the escalator system to enter the old town. The rooms were good and were excellent value, as the prices were low.

The room was lovely but the ladies at the front desk made the stay the best -- from mailing my postcards to providing hot water for tea at night. We had DSL in the room which was great. the friendly, hospitable staff and the location to the city - The location of the hotel was great. A 15-20 minute walk into the town center or a bus stop across the street can get you there in less than 5. Our room was large and clean and the breakfast was good too. The staff didn't speak a lot of English but they were friendly and accomodating.
