great place to stay in Siena - Travelling by car, we found the hotel more easily than we expected. We were given excellent advice at the hotel on parking in Sienna and using the escalator system to enter the old town. The rooms were good and were excellent value, as the prices were low.

Breakfast buffet was excellent; I wish we had booked a reservation for dinner at the restaurant, but we were so anxious to see the city we did not. This villa is a winery and the wine tour and tasting is excellent and
half price if you are staying at the Villa. Very happy we stayed outside
of Siena as it was very hot in the city, but cool at the Villa. Great
views over Siena at night. Highly recommended.

Absolutely breathtaking views from every area of the hotel. Our room felt more like a private suite. It was very private and include a small terrace with an umbrelled table and chairs. Breakfast was superior with a courtyard...most pleasant way to start your day. The restaurant was a huge surprise, at least 4 stars, with very knowledgeable servers.
