Refurbished in November 2013, the Chroma Pente offers elegant rooms with parquet floors, air conditioning, and a flat-screen satellite TV. This stylish guest house is set on the first floor of a residential building, 100 metres from San Giovanni Metro Station, on Rome's line A. The rooms are spacious and come with designer furniture and original paintings. The private bathrooms are complete with rain shower and chromotherapy. Pente Chroma is 200 metres from the Basilica of Saint John in Lateran. You can walk to the Coliseum in 10 minutes.

Chroma Pente is an ideal place for those who prefer cosy private places rather than commercial hotels. The area is not over-crowded with tourists, staying at this place gives you a touch of local life: having breakfast at the cafe nearby, watching poeple rushing to work and back. Only 5 rooms in the hall, no noisy neighbours. Great communication with the airport and central Termini station, most sightseeing and shopping spots are reachable by direct bus or a few stops of metro. Beautiful San Gi.
alle vurderinger » Simone, the caretaker was very hospitable and went extra miles to help us from trip planning, restaurant recommendations, and even kept our luggage after check-out hours. The location was very safe, at the center of shopping centers, supermarkets, and easily accessible to various tourist attractions (e.g. Colosseum, San Giovanni Cathedral, etc). The room was clean and the decor unique/fashionable with a pleasant ambiance. I would highly recommend the place to anyone who stays alone, as a couple. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, nice and very clean. They even bring breakfast to your room every morning with whatever you want! The location was great: the metro station was just 1 block away and the colliseum was 15 min walk away. It was great value for money and the owner Simone was helpful. It was clean safe and modern. The safe in the room made us feel safe and secure. Also Simone let us rent a room for half a day until we checked out and let us have it for a reasonable price. Staff were more than helpful and the location was superb, just ten minutes walk from the centre of Rome and the Colosseum! :) Our room was very clean and well presented and modern. We would definately return to Chroma Pente again! :). Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. The most positive point is the location very near of the metro(subway), Termini Station and city downtown. The location was great. For a european location, the room was quite big. It was very quiet and clean. Breakfasts and service were good. Very comfortable kingsize bed & shower facilities. Possibility to leave your luggage there until departure time in the last day. There were some renovations taking place during our stay, which meant we woke up to hammering a few times, and the internet was constantly going down. The only problem is that the wifi is sometimes unstable. Sometimes the room was a little hot because of the central air conditioning was not getting so cold. The bed was not comfortable. No facilities for fresh breakfast. they don't have a sign outside, nothing but it is exactly where google says it is. Difficult to initially find. Air con not adequate Breakfast was not in the room, it was in a cafe nearby and it was very poor as there was just croissants, doughnuts and coffee !! No welcome kit as mention on letsbookhotel.com. The breakfast is a normal, very sweet, italian breakfast :-). This hotel has only 4 rooms in first floor of a big building..no hotel sign on the building but a name tag on the entrance intercom of the building.it feels like you are entering an office building.Broken credit card machine , they charged me in CASH.. Room not kept warm enough. Cold at night. All was good,but the breakfast was very poor!u could only choose to eat a croissant or a muffin,and to drink a coffe and a tea,or a coffe and a juice. needed information of what tourist sights were in the area or how to get train or bus to main tourist sights eg colloseum, St Peters Square. difficult to find as within a building under a different name, this should be added to the directions provided. No tea making facilities in room. The room got really hot at night. Not really a hotel. Breakfast is simple croissant and jam and the capuccino is cold. There was no hot water in the bath on our first day. Breakfast is not at the hotel and its poor. It wasn't easy to find the hotel. It would be better to have a sign with the name of the hotel and the arrow in the yard. Few things: - problems with hot water (2 out of 4 mornings) - it was quite cold inside the room - as the room in general was ok the walls would need some refresh - although breakfast was delivered to the room was great it was really basic (same thing every day - which is ok not bad) but the coffee was usually cold or barely warm. Who likes cold coffe? :) - a little hard to find - you need to find a proper building, then enter a gate and go on the first floor. There are no signs on the street. Beside all perfect, we could not control the air conditioned ( is central), so the room was a bit hot for me. breakfast was a very poor . no room service, timed reception. there's a slight thing regarding the Air con ....needs fixing. lack of natural light. broken shower fitting. air con not adequate. leaking toilet in bathroom. gap between mattresses to form double bed. lack of ventilation in bathroom. The noise of the central air conditioning system, the lack of troom temperature regulation, very poor cleaning, the reseption wasn't manned 24/7.
