Excellent base for touring northern Tuscany . Well placed in the hills but within easy reach of all destinations. I've stayed in many high class hotels around the world but this cannot be beaten for value. Breakfast is very good with staff responding to your every need. - The best small hotel we have ever stayed at. Rooms were reasonable size, nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. There was a nice pool set in lovely well kept gardens. The service was friendly and efficient. Good choice at breakfast. It is set in a pleasant village in the hills above Florence with easy access to all of Tuscany, particularly Lucca, Pisa and the coast.

The village of Fiesole at this time of year is peaceful and friendly. There are interesting buildings and archaeological remains. There is beautiful countryside around and some good walks, as well as breathtaking views of Florence.. There was a very good exhibition of modern sculpture in the main piazza. This is a lovely old house in a very pretty town in the hills just outside Florence. Its quiet, friendly and comfortable, and the views are simply stunning. I thought this was really good value for money. You can catch a regular bus intot he centre of Florence from just down the road.

This hotel is pure indulgent luxury. The suite is amazing, bed so comfy, food and wine delicious, surroundings picturesque, but the best bit has to be the team working to make sure we had a great stay. Despite having their newborn baby, Eduardo and his Mum went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after us. Will definitely be going back.

It is a perfect place. The house is surrounded by vine and others tree. The appartment is nice and comfortable (sofa and bed are comfortable).
The swinging pool was 10m from the bedroom but the water was not cold.
It is very quite in the night, no noise. -

The hotel was very close to the main sights of Pisa (Leaning Tower was a 10 minute walk away). We also walked from the hotel to Pisa Central station - the whole of Pisa is in walking distance.
The room was big and airy. Bed was comfortable, and bathroom was clean.
