  We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily! On breakfast there were some fresh fruits in a buffet and good Italian coffee. Taormina is 10 mins away by car. Beach is 20 meters away. - Comfortable bed.   Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh. Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable. No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  Charming, helpful owners. Castellamare del Golfo is a good base for visiting North West Sicily. The scenery in the area is beautiful. The town is not far from Palermo airport and the autostrada does not have much traffic. - Great place, perfect location and very friendly staff!! Recommended to everybody!!
