This hotel was like staying in another world from centuries past. It was
amazing each room situated in what seemed was stone cliffsides. The view
from both windows looked out on the ancient city. All sites were within
walking distance. The manager spoke English and gave many ideas with
walking map to find them. You don't have to be interested in Italian
history to thoroughly enjoy this hotel. Breakfast was wonderful with all

This is a gem, staff delightful, rooms great, food excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel is not by the sea, but has an excellent pool. The area is fasinating, particularly when we were there in May. We stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. - Staff very helpful and charming.

The location of Hotel Sassi is superb. The staff (Vivian and Sabrina) were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. They suggested a trip to a 8th Century Bizantyne Cave Church that we would never find ourselves, which was extra ordinary and unique. we stayed in room 301 which is a hike to get to (steps, steps), but well worth it. -
