Locanda Degli Dei offers panoramic views of the Mediterranea Sea from its hilltop position in Praiano. Providing free WI-Fi, it serves a continental breakfast on its sea-view terrace during summer. Mostly decorated with white walls and furniture and characteristic tiled floors, rooms are bright and air conditioned. Each one features a wall-mounted LCD TV and a minibar and some have a balcony overlooking the sea. The Locanda is a 20-minute drive from the famous seaside resorts of Positano and Amalfi.

We absolutely loved the hotel, the location, the room, the breakfasts and the staff. The only downside is that the hotel is located at the top of the hill, 400 steps up from the town, and the local shuttle bus only goes halfway up. So if you want to eat out in the evening, you have to arrange for someone at the hotel to give you a lift. Ideally, you should have a car if you want to stay at this lovely hotel. If you do stay here, make sure you go to Vivaro Wine Bar for food.
alle vurderinger » The hotel/ B&B is owned and run by a kind and generous family who takes sincere care of their guests. We had a sleep-in after a wedding and missed breakfast, but the owner Franco called to ask if we were ok and offered breakfast anytime we were ready. Profoundly good service! The view is breathtaking and the breakfast is served in the beautiful and romantic garden. The best experience in a long time! Highly recommendable. We liked everything - absolutely! Breathtaking view from terrace of our room, excellent breakfast - especially coffee (best in the world!), cleanness, very friendly owners... Only it's necessary to have a car, or motobike - but it's like everywhere on Amalfi coast, even it's challenging to drive in this region. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. The location was very good for us, being close enough to beaches and sufficiently far out of the town to be able to park the car and be peaceful. Franco and Giovanni were both extremely friendly and helpful, great value for money given it's location and beautiful views of the coast from the terrace. Hospitality! Breakfast! View! Friendly atmosphere! Great part of the coast! Hospitality once again!. Calmp place in the village Praiano, wonderfull view, clean rooms, good breakfast, free parking. Very clean rooms, nicely furnished. Lovely garden and patio area and wonderful breakfast. The room was great, the view was excellent. Great place, excellent staff and location. If you go with car, It's a nice place to stay, very quiet. The staff's okay although it's nothing special. I do enjoy the breakfast (italian style) and the room is very clean. Nothing. A pity only one room has a real balcony. A car (or a motorcycle) is a must have, even if you are in perfect shape. :). Wi-Fi was weak, annoying ants and other insects. Very far out of main village centre. Car essential. Also our room 'Apollo' was very near the road and path to other rooms which made it very difficult to sleep. Ask for the room called 'venere' which has its own balcony . The driving is totally crazy and not for the feint hearted. We had to climb a lot of stairs. Don't go without a car. We stay 5-7 days without car.. the stairs killed us.. (+350 steps one way). the bathroom is nice and clean with jacuzzi although without shower and poor hot water could be a problem.
