  We arrived on a Sunday with the local equivalent of Mothers' Day in full swing plus about three first communion family parties. In spite of the pressure on the family run team, our early arrival was treated very efficiently and helpfully. WiFi worked a treat as well. - Hotel is the highest point on the mountain, so views of the lake and mountains below are breathtaking! Accordingly the road driving up to the hotel, was steep and winding - not for the faint-hearted driver. Owners are friendly and breakfast was very nice. Surrounding town of Viconago is well-worth a visit

  The ambience of the hotel, set at the side of Lake Lugano. Our room on the first floor had a large terrace overlooking the lake. The female Romanian receptionist was brilliant and efficient. All the staff were friendly without familiarity and most helpful. The restaurant was terrific and the waiters really good, although they could not speak too m... hva folk sier » uch English, it was better than my Italian. Food excellent as were the wines. - The lakevie room was very large and led out to the balcony. The balcony is shared, but I felt secure and comfortable. The view was great. It is driving distance to a couple of small towns. There was a flea market in a nearby town. The staff very accommodating. I have severe allergies and they paid careful attention to cleaning the room prior to my arrival. Excellent place, I will stay again!

  Great Hotel with excellent view over the lake and breakfast. If you wake up in the morning you can smell the fresh croissants. The breakfast is great with different cookies, juice and fresh fruits. Swimming pool i didn't test ecause it was february. Very nice and absolutely clean rooms. - Everything!
