  The Albergo Roma was convenient to everything in the historic center ,just steps away from the Piazza Cavalli and that was why I chose it even though it was a higher priced hotel than I usually choose. I think it was worth it though. The staff was great, friendly and so helpful with information. Nice clean room, comfortable beds effective air c... hva folk sier » onditioning , nice rooftop view and we liked the breakfast selection and noticed that the staff remembered from day to day how we liked our coffee. - The breakfast room is of note due to the panoramic view it affords of Piacenza. Breathtaking.The location - being very central - provides a good base to explore the city on foot. The staff were very helpful in providing train options to our next stop and were surprisingly aware of the Second World War family-related connection that we were researching.

  I had a spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet room with a wonderful bathroom (the best shower I have ever had at a hotel). The management and staff were gracious, helpful and courteous in the extreme. The premises are modern, attractive and so clean one could eat off the floor.
