All rooms are decorated in a rustic style, with dark-wood furnishings, wrought-iron beds and some featuring exposed wood-beamed ceilings. Each is provided with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a work desk. Some rooms also have a private balcony. Breakfast at the Galileo B&B is served in the shared dining room and it is a rich buffet. It offers sweet and savoury products, including fresh fruit, pastries and Sicilian specialities. Gluten-free options are available on request. Staff are available to arrange transfer to main sites and to give tourist information. Free bikes are available to explore the surrounding areas. Palermo Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Palermo Cathedral is 2 km from the B&B. Two important hospitals are 1 km from the property.

nice staff, 10 minute's walk to central railway station and another 10 to the city's attractions. Good breakfast. If you come from the airport better use bus - it's faster than the train and also stops near the central station. Good pizzeria (perez) 100 meters away. The female staff bake every morning a several kind of the cakes, so that all house has a pleasant smell, naturally, the breakfast is nothing for the diabetics. Mix of ethnics groups in the neighbourhood didn´ t annoy to us.
alle vurderinger » Large room with an elegant interior. The room has everything you need - fridge, air conditioning. Presonal speaks English, were helpful and supporting. Breakfast is fantastic - variety of fruits, local cakes, drinks, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful, it was clean spacious and comfortable, close to the station and tourist sites in Palermo. Inside the B&B is well cared for and very clean. Really nice family hotel. Large, clean rooms. Friendliest staff and owner. Such a good breakfast for sweets lovers. Fresh orange juice and cakes. Our room had everything that it should - air condition, internet, nice bathroom. It was clean. Unfortunatelly not all of staff speaks english. Décor delightful, People very friendly. Value for money. take note that there's no lift. quite a lot of immigrants at night, so you feel as if you are in Africa rather than Italy, but i didn't see any reasons to worry about safety. It is located in the non-picturesque part of the city but in 10 min far from the Central Railway Station. The area it is in looks rather dirty and uncared for,. When we first arrived we were a bit scared by the location of the hotel. But then we got used to it. The wireless coverage on the third floor wasn't that good. The street doesn't feel safe, but we park our car in front of the hotel and in the morning it was still there:). No lift, difficult to find, and area not as nice as places in or off via Roma. but really good value for money. Neighbourhood looks dodgy but when you speak to the locals you realise you are over reacting. The area seemed a bit unsafe & streets were dirty; they only serve sweet breakfasts. The area was a bit unsafe. Wouldn´t recommend for the single travellers. Because of the structure of the building and the thin structure of the walls of the rooms,the noise coming from the opposite room and the room downstairs disturbed me. Everything was great. The tv did not work. Internet connection is not available everywhere. Due to the position in downtown it is not easy to find a parking place. dirtiness of the surrounding streets. The location feels unsafe and poor. Neighbourhood.
