This is such a lovely place to stay. When we planned to stay in Naples and travel to Capri, sores to Pompeii from there we were a bit nervous as we were told by many many people that Naples is not a very safe city, and to some extent it is true. When we were approaching the place we felt a little odd in the surroundings although nobody bothered us one bit. Once we entered this lovely B&B everything changed. The hotel was 1st Class.
Giorgio made me feel very welcome and at home.
The room was of a very high standard,very clean and serviced daily.

Giorgio's place is very well done - he runs it himself and is
opening a new location soon. The B&B is very tastefully
decorated, cozy, and in a great location for sightseeing. Giorgio
prepares breakfast every day - he is a cool Italian guy and helpful
with recommending places to go and see. We had a room with a
balcony overlooking the street outside - you can watch people eat,
talk, and smoke.

The staff were excellent. It is in a very good situation although the immediate square it is in, is slightly run down and can be intimidating at first. If the noise of fireworks upsets you, this is not the hotel for you, as there are a number of firework shops in the square and during the festivals there are constant loud bangs.

The Viletta is an oasis in the midst of a huge city. It is near the
airport but planes are not allowed to fly after 10 pm so noise is not a
problem. The manager, Raffaelli offered to prepare dinner for us, which
was delicious and very reasonably priced at 20 Euros each.
Transportation to the airport is offered for a very reasonable charge
and Lorenzo is a very safe driver! Rooms and baths are beautifully

Room (suite) was really great, only 2 remarks we have, a teacattle wouldbe great, and a bit more fresh stuff for breakfast would be appreciated. -
