  Everything. The 4 nights stay here is our best part of our 2 weeks holiday in Italy. The hosts are super friendly and their way of working and living is inspiring. Maria prepared optional dinners and there was no repetition for the 4 nights - delicious! The stay really connects us with the essence of Tuscany. We definitely will come back! And ... hva folk sier » we enjoyed great restaurants recommended by the hosts in surrounding towns. And my 6 years old girl misses so much of the swallows living under the r - very friendly hosts, always ready to help; their suggestions for wine tasting, restaurants, places to see, were truly the best we received during our 2 week stay in Tuscany. Close to Siena - 15-20 minutes drive from downtown on normal road or about 1 hour on a beautiful white road also recommended by the host for the views. We highly recommend it.

  All in all, just perfect. We felt privileged to stay in this gem of a place. Superb in all the ways possible. The hosts, the whole family, are just amazingly wonderful people (plus the lovely and friendly dog "Fez") who made our visit to the Castello di San Fabiano and to Tuscany exquisite. We couldn't have asked for more and Castello di San Fabia... hva folk sier » no surpassed our expectations. The location is excellent - a 20 minute drive from Siena and from a short distance to all the relevant places in Tusca - We LOVED our stay at the castle. Beatrice and Andrea are the most gracious hosts and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. On a Mon Wed and Fri Beatrice prepares a home made 3 course meal that is simply sublime. It was the highlight to our trip to Italy and with the castle being so centrally located so as to explore the surrounding villages. We WILL be back!
