Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, calm and peaceful. The interior design integrates well in the rural surroundings. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant cuisine is excellent. The staff is very cordial. For once I had no problem with wifi for several devices.

A lovely old palazzo in the heart of Modica, technically a B&B but feels like a small hotel. A very different place to stay, full of character but skilfully adapted by the owners to provide modern facilities whilst retaining the charm and heritage of a terrific old building. And a cracking, and very reasonably priced, little osteria fifty metres across the road. Lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful owners who made us feel very much at home. A really nice, and unusual, place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Modica: de Mohac is very centrally located, but
hidden away up a flight of stairs from the main street. Triple room was
ample; not a lot of room for large luggage, bathroom is in a corner of
the room. It is an authentic old building with high ceilings and thick
walls, tasteful but simple furnishings. Disposable slippers in room too!
The only hotel in a total of 6 in Italy to do so. Breakfast good for
Italy. The staff were very welcoming & helpful. I would go back!
