  We rented a car so that we could enjoy the back country of Italy and this place gave us that. Located on a family farm we were nestled into Italian comfort. If the weather had been better we could have enjoyed the beautiful pool but the building was cozy enough. To get to the main building you have to drive 4km up a dirt road but our rental fiat p... hva folk sier » anda made it just fine (if you're driving the road at night look out for warthogs). Our room was gorgeous and classic. Clean, comfortable and had char - Simonetta and Luca were fantastic. The location it's a bit remote, but that's the beauty about it!! With my mobile google map and a bit of internet i didn't have any trouble in finding the way, at all!! Sleeping with the windows open could let us enjoy all the rumors of the wild night, like if we were in the middle of the forest with a fire camp. Bathrooms and room very clean. Homemade breakfast, with good variety. Possibility to enjoy the utilities of the house like if you are at your place.

  For the price paid this place is a bagain. Daniele looks after you really well. The location is definitely country and we used a gps to locate it without a problem, and this was first time driving in Europe on the wrong side of the road for us. Typical Toscana house, nice and clean room with Toscana-style furniture, relax, lavender, rosemary and other herbs in the garden, a little shop and an outdoor fitness area. But you need a car, it is a long way from Rifugium to the Greve-town. And Daniele was very nice and helpful!
