Great hotel, very clean, huge rooms and the staff are very professional, friendly and very helpful. Perfect location as we needed to be close to the port but we could walk the whole city centre with no problem. Huge breakfast buffet although I would have preferred a smaller and more local selection.

of the church next door. The swimming pool/spa is beautiful and the
best feature of the hotel. The restaurant is located in an quaint

important building. We stayed 4 nights and the staff were very helpful,
and were particularly obliging when we wanted to change our room
(personal reasons) - they really wanted to ensure that we were happy.
Breakfasts were excellent. Location is also excellent with ease of
access to the historical sites.

Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

Salvo on reception looked after us superbly. We were upgraded to a suite
and what a beautiful room with balconies and comfy furniture. The area
did appear rather dodgy but in reality was not although you have to
factor in the noisy locals that gather in the square below. It was out
last night of holiday and I suppose slightly fearful of venturing
outside in the nearby streets (unfounded, of course) we dined in the
