  Det var nytt, rent og Yakozi dusjen var deilig - Very nice and small hotel. Close to Via Nationale and only 30min walk to city center. The room was small but very comfortable, 5th floor and a nice view over Teatro dell Opera. The bathroom is excellent. No breakfast is no problem - nice caffees just down the street. Offer free use of mini-laptop and internet access. Free satellite TV. Offered a shuttle to Fiumicino which was inexpensive (14 euros/person), considering that the train to Fiunicino is 11 euros.

There is now a big sign so even though the reception is on the 1st floor of the building we still found it with ease. The location of the hotel was perfect for us to see the whole of Rome. Location is great, 5 min walk to Termini bus station/train station. Stop for red open top tour bus 110.

  My girlfriend and I booked a room in Esedra mainly because of its good location, 10min walk from Termini, 15min from Trevi Fountain area and 2min from the nearest metro station. The room was pretty neat, really clean, the bathroom was one of the nicest we had in Italy, it had a massage shower, which was pretty cool. We spent our stay in Rome partying, so we enjoyed the 24h free coffee machine the next day a lo - The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Being an easy walk from the train stations was also a big plus.

The owner is super kind, I spent over 20 days travel around Europe with heavy baggage, only this guy came out and help my wife to bring the luggage upstairs. He did the samething to offer his help to bring down all our luggag - Right from the moment of the initial, the team at Matisse couldnt have been more helpful and professional. Roberto, the owner, was charming. The relaxed atmosphere was welcome after a long day travelling. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Although they were fully booked on our last pass thru Rome, the staff once again went above and beyond by helping us find alternate accommations in their neighbourhood.
